With an eye for good design gleaned from a background of fashion and art direction, Arlene took her talent for finding things beautiful and opened Revival Home in the heart of Connecticut. She opened her store in the summer of 2009 in the middle of the recession. States Arlene, “People should not have to pay a high price for good quality especially in hard times. People’s tastes don’t change but their spending habits do.” She was right…the store has been busier than expected and finds that items are going out as fast as they come in. She personally handpicks all the items that are in the store, finding one-of-a-kind pieces from estates from the Hamptons to New England. Her store is the perfect place to showcase these items with its bright and airy feel. Windows run all along two sides of the store.
